Fiestas Patrias Celebration - Chilean Independence Festival

• Traditional food, live band, fancing and much more are brought together to celebrate the Chilean Independence Day. This is a family event and all are welcome to join us!

Utah Helps Valparaiso - Saturday, June 21, 2014

• The event “Utah Helps Valparaiso” was held Saturday, June 21st 2014 at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, West Valley City. The event was intended to support families in Chile that were affected on April 12th, 2014 by a big wildfire in Valparaiso, Chile.
• This was the biggest fire in Chilean history. These hills are the home of many athletes that participate in this very extreme sport. For a sample of the sport, watch this video. The fire destroyed at least 2500 homes, leaving about 9000 people homeless. The biggest concern was that these families will be experiencing extremely hardship during the cold and rainy winter in the following months. Funds were raised and donated to the people of the Valparaiso region.
